Alright folks, it’s time for my little tournament report. (Spoiler: it’s a little longer xD). We were 32 players and the meta was the following:

It was a really diverse meta and and really different than I thought. I also changed my list last minute, a little bit based on the comments to my previous post.
If I should tell you something about the tournament in one word: Awful. I went 1-4. Mostly because of my mana. I still think I cant shuffle properly^^.
R1G1 vs. Humans on the Draw 0-2
I keep Crab, Ashiok, Briefing and 4 Lands since I didn’t knew what my opponent plays. In the end I drew 2 Pushes and the rest lands, which made them killing me slowly with Freebooters and Riders.
G2 I kept a risky 5 after 5 lands into no lands with Island, Inquisition, Torpor Orb, Glimpse and Thought Scour. Didn’t drew a land the first 3 draws and my opponent went Champion into Thalia into Champion+Lieutenant.
R2G1 vs. Mardu Superfriends on the Draw 0-2
Omg, there was really an Emrakul deck…. I kept 7 with 2 Islands, Trap, Surgical, Crab, Inquisition and Bridge. Turn 1 he fetches and I trap him. Emrakul triggers and I surgical him. Problem 1 solved. He Inquisitions me and took my own Inquisition. Turn 3 he plays Lili and I play Bridge. He has no outs for the Bridge, but a lot of spirit tokens. I’m down to 5 with 6 spirits on the board and drew Trap with 3 lands.
G2 he starts with Leyline. I have Echoing Thruth in hand, so no problem. I bounce it end of turn 2 and mill them for 20, drew 3 cards and still had nothing. He replays Leyline, followed by Nahiri. Tick up twice and kills me with Emmi.
R3G1 vs. Eldra Tron on the Draw (again) 1-2
I milled them almost completely till they had the Karn lock. I played Crypt Incursion in response to the Lattice and gained 39 with 4 cards in their library.
G2 I was again screwed on 2 basic Islands and no follow up.
G3 I surgical Karn on turn 2 and then he went t3 TKS into TKS into Smasher and overrun me.
R4G1 vs. Urza Combo on the Draw (of course) 2-0
Finally a nice Matchup! I trap them turn 1 and surgical Foundry. T3 I played Ashiok and negated their Tutors. Easy win.
G2 he had 2 lands and 3 Baubles and couldn’t find another land.
R5G1 vs Eldra Tron on the Draw (it’s getting silly right?^^) 0-2
Not much to say. I started nice and flooded hard.
G2 there was actually a nice turn and a big punt for me. He played Chalice on 1, I responded with Field into double Trap into Visions into surgical Ballista. I should have taken Karn there but there where already 3 in the yard. I flooded again and he locked me out.
I played one more match just4fun against 4c Mono Blue Control, who went 9th and missed Top8 by some %. I won 2-0 kinda easy against his snow deck full of counters, Force of Negations and planeswalkers.
Tl:dr my Manabase joked on me pretty hard today. It’s a day where I would say 6 basics are to much. Anyway, the Deck still feels solid enough to win probably every match i’ve listed (except Humans) if the mana would work out…
